ready to start beating Metal!
Hello,
My name is Joe. I am from PA. Over the last few years I have begun assembling a shop just as a personal hobby. I am into building cars and bike and whatever else comes along. I have done some metal shaping in the past by way of hammer and shot bag. I am now more interested in adding HP to the equation. Unfortunately most machines for metalshaping are not available or out of my price range. I have welders, 2 Bridgeports, and a lathe so i'm going to build my own equipment. My interest in this forum is to gain knowledge right now on building a Pullmax and CP style air hammer as well as various tooling. Regards, Joe

Hi Joe,
welcome to the site, you don't need fancy machines to shape metal... David Gardener shows it on his DVD. Machines just speed up the proces (not always) so everthing can be done by hand with simple tools. Ben

Hey Joe,
Welcome to the site. Hope your shop is doing well. Where you anywhere near the flooding.? My wife and I went down to Hershy last week,can you say bad timing. Tom h

Yeah - there was flooding all around me. I saw pics of Hershey park, totally under water. Fortunately, I didn't experience any power outages and my sump pump ran all night.
