Default Checking In

Hello Everyone,

I am checking in and now I know why, when I signed up last month, that I am not in the system (>30 days). Darned instructions; I guess I'd better read them more closely.

Anyway, I have a small shop on my farm where I custom paint motorcycles but currently, I am completing a custom built motorcycle for a customer: metal work, body work, paint, machining parts etc.... Originally, custom building was my goal but, in my area, this sort of work is not on the front burner so I have been mainly custom painting and airbrushing for the last couple of years.

I have one of the E-wheels that Ron Covell used to sell and as well some of his beater bags and those kool slappers. I got some of Kent White's mallets and I love those things. I have a big Vectrax mill and lathe which I am slowly getting tooled up and a Miller DX250 that I really love.

I have a wife and 3 children and a job at the University of Florida in the Physics Department (no, I am not a Physicist) that keeps me hopping. That's the short story on me.

Thanks. Later Jay

Jay: Welcome. I am located just down the road from you about ten miles north of Ocala. I drive up to Gainesville a lot. If you don't mind clutter, you are welcome to come down and check out my shop and TuckPuck® factory.
Perhaps you would be interested in joining us in the Metalshapers workshop at the Sun-n-Fun Flyin at the end of March. Guaranteed to have fun. Carey

send me a PM or check my website for contact information

Hi Ron and Carey,

@ Ron, I am originally from Ill and I have some family up there somewhere but I don't think they are in plastics -maybe they got a couple of credit cards or something but not manufacturing. It's all good!

@ Carey, When I get the time I'd love to visit your shop. I used to live and work in Ocala. I had plenty of Man-sized fun their. March is the busiest time of the year for me: Bike Week, Gators..., and Spring Break for the kids, etc...etc.... I will take you up on a visit though when time permits.

Thanks to all for the Welcome. Later Jay
