Default Newbie who knows very little.

Hello All.

My name is Bal and I am planning to restore my 1978 Mk1 Golf Gti. I am hoping to pick up some techniques in modifying pattern panels that are not completely correct to the year since the originals are no longer available. I have very little experience in this type of work but I have plenty of patience and time.

Bal

Hi Bal, welcome to the site, you might think you don't know much today but just look thru the threads, here's a couple to be going on with:-

http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=7519 Take a trip thru the videos.

http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=1468 David has produced a DVD which is also well worth money.

Every month a top notch thread is given Shaper of the Month, click on it will take you straight in, and from the home page you will find Metalshpers Hall of Fame, that list all Shaper of the Month threads.

Hope you enjoy the site.
