My name is Brian and to paraphrase another sig I saw once, I have been making sheet metal into scrap one project at a time for 40 years. I started with Ron Fournier's book "Metal Fabricators Handbook". I was building off road dune buggies and was expecting lots of chassis work with tube bending etc. I was initially disapointed to find it was mostly panel beating but the more I read, the more fascinated I got. Most of my practice has been simple body work but I keep dreaming about a big project. Most of my metal work is still bending, welding, and turning but sooner or later I will get to more panel beating. I also dabble in woodworking and electronics.
