Default New Guy from Southampton UK

Hi, I am a keen hobby metalworker. My main area of interest is in restoring old machinery. This started as the only way I could afford to equip my shop but has turned into the main thing that I do. I do (occasioanlly) sell on the odd machine (when I can no longer get into my workshop).

My principle interest in sheet metal is to make replacement parts for machines (guards, control boxes etc).

I am work freelance, mostly writing technical manuals for the construction industry, but also the occasional forray into CAD modeling for for CNC programming in the woodworking industry.

I don't know that I can bring too much to the table yet on metal shaping but I am keen to learn.
