Default Custom Chopper and Trike builder

I am Bikerart, new on here today. I have been in the bike building thing since 03.

My projects are getting more intense lately. We are doing more shaping (sort of) welding and of course, grinding.

Started off with a cheap MIG, it got to the point that it would not stay running after a few inches of weld. So I got a new inverter model. Boy what a difference.

I bought a Econo Tig and took a class at the community college, like the other guy on here from Portland Or. I just can't relax while working either welder. That cause my lenses to fog up all the time. I fixed that though, my friend Jerry likes to come over and do all the welding, so he does it all.

I got some beater bags for Xmas, in hopes that we will get into tanks. I have an English wheel that I do not know how to use yet.

So here I am just enjoying retirement, turned 65 on Tuesday. I will be interested in learning from the old salts on here and maybe getting some tips on the best videos to buy for training myself on the wheel and the bags.

I have an old Atlas 6" lathe, ok for now but I need a man sized one for sure.
I just picked up a Jet End mill, that is a very handy tool. Been working the crap out of it.

BTW my name is Art Morris of Sherwood Oregon, if any of you do Facebook look me up and check out what we do here just for the fun of it, money too.

Thanks for looking.

Art
