Hi all,
Rick from Hilo, HI. I've done a little body work on old cars I've owned, including making some panels, but got to watching Lazze and Wray and others on Youtube and realized there's a whole world of sheet metal shaping of which I wasn't aware. I dabble in welding and machining and enjoy making or saving useful tools and machines out of metal and this is a logical progression from that. I also have a dream of building a scaled-down copy of a Dodge Power Wagon on a small pickup chassis. I love the look of the PW (used to own a B- model Mack which has similar styling) but don't need a vehicle that can climb walls and has a top speed of 45 mph. If I go against my better judgement and actually start this project I'll undoubtedly be making a nuisance of myself here. |
