Default Hello From SoCal

I found your forum listed in the latest Hot Rod magazine article about, you guessed it, metal - shaping basics. I've been involved with metal most of my life and as a tool & die maker I've mastered the skill of shaping metal stock into useful items for the aircraft & aerospace industry but never really got a hold on the techniques required to make sheet metal cooperate with my intentions.
As a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast, I thought I might learn a thing or two from some folks kind enough to share their hard earned experiences with others having a desire to learn. I thank you for your generosity.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm in El Cajon, CA. Pronounced: El Cahone, for those with little Spanish language experience.

I've edited my signature and hope I did it correctly. If not, I'll need help to get it right. I'll get some pics to post shortly.

Your signature is perfect.

Thanks for doing that. It's nicer to be on a first name basis.
