Default Hi from Virginia

I'm a newbie to metal working and am trying to absorb it all. My particular interest is in learning oxy/acet welding of aluminum. Have a fairly large stock of structural alum left from a construction project and would like to make use of it.

Am 70 and still kicking.
Jerry

Welcome Jerry. Ron Fournier and Kent White both have excellent gas-aluminum welding videos available. Here's a link to Kent's: https://www.tinmantech.com/html/vid_..._weld_alum.php

Welcome aboard, Jerry.

I learned aluminum welding from Kent White's video. I kept trying to weld it the way I weld steel. Kent's video was a revelation.

Mathews County. Makes me a bit homesick. I lived for many years right across the river in Deltaville.

Thanks to all for the welcome. Will check out the videos.

BTW: Richard-S, I'm about 2 miles from D-ville as the crow flies on Queens Creek, off Hills Bay. I've been here since 89. When did you leave? We might know each other.
