Hey everyone,
Name's Dane. I'm from the Detroit area. 25 years young and been building cars and metal art since I was 13. I started Detroit Motion in hopes of making this my career instead of donning the tie and sitting behind a desk forever. There aren't many people my age that are interested in true craftsmanship. I am really interested in learning how to do things the old-fashioned way. Most of the knowledge that I gain here will be used to automotive/moto purposes (pre '65) but I dabble in furniture, art, etc. I believe in the preservation of lost arts and skills. The only way to keep it alive is to pass it on. Teach me.
