Hi Everyone,
I came to this forum in hopes of learning new skills in shaping metal. My experience revolves around being an aircraft sheet metal mechanic for approx. 16 years. My focus then was naturally aluminum with some exposure to titanium, and Stainless Steel. I have been away from the trade for quite some time now. I am now focused on classic cars with the hopes of building a tube chassis roadster with an aluminum body one day. In reality it might end up being a pedal car. I am currently in the process of collecting the needed tools when the money is available. I recently purchased a Miller tig welder and a 4’ sheet metal brake. I still have many more wants…Again I'm looking forward to learning from all that enjoy working with metal.
