hey guys

my name is ed, im a 27 year old guy thats into interesting things mostly being
- old cars - I drive a trionic 5.5 84 saab 900 turbo
- old motorcycles - I have a couple of 1950s puch split single motorcycles
- I sell puch parts because my dad used to be a parts distributor and now he has a huge stock of parts, in doing this I have been roped into doing restos and repairs on various puch bikes (its just a hobby!)




my 175 just needs a tank to be complete - they are normally chromed and this is what I need to metal finish - ambitious oh yeah,,,


my other puch that is being left mostly patina (except for parts that were missing)


resto I did for a guy, engine rebuild, zinc plating, painting, powder coating all done myself.

I wanted to join the site because I dont know enough about metal finishing - wait I do know one thing! you gotta have good tools (I started with cheap hammer and dolly set and its caused more problems than its solved) ive spent a fair bit of time reading and watching youtube, and having a go too! with pretty good results for a rookie but I think this site will help a lot! theres a difference between getting a dent out and getting a panel flat enough for chrome plating and thats the kind of thing I am into, I have about 5 puch split singles that I want to do and they all need tank repair!
