Default new guy

Hello Guys.
New to metal shaping and hoping to learn enough so to be able to shape some pieces for the airplane im building. Little over a year now building a Pietenpol airplane. Its a two seat low and slow 1929 open cockpit design. Its basically the grandfather to homebuilt experimental aircraft. No kit just plans. Welded up the steel tube fuselage and have all the wood tail feathers completed and part of the wing.
Want to make it look like a 1930s racer. Many airplane builders like making a fiberglass nose but I want all polished aluminum. Ill see if I can attach a pic later of what im trying to replicate.
I belong to a great Pietenpol forum and hope this one is as instructional. Thankyou, Paul
