Default Hello from Montreal, Québec

Hi guys,
thanks for the opportunity to learn more about metal shaping. I have been machining and welding as a hobby for a few years now. I mostly repair stuff: usually...cars, trucks, Appliance, bicylces, etc.
Being nostalgic (i turned 50) I decided to recapture my youth and bougth a 1982 KZ 1000 to modify into a cafe racer. I have machined new headset, rear set pegs, modified the frame, ported the engine head, new cams...etc. I enjoy working on this bike more than riding it actually! lol
Anyway, i would like to make my own cafe racer gas tank. That and i have to fix a rear fender on my kids' car! I like to do these things on a budget and really enjoy making the tooling. So, not only am I interested to learn more about English wheels, planishing hammers bossing mallets and shrinking disk i am interested in fabricating them myself.
I'll be happy to share my own tips and tricks i have learned over the years...thx for reading
