Default New from Puget Sound

Hello all,

I am a new member. I live in Mt. Vernon, WA. Just finished building my house and shop and have moved the tools in. Mostly I do blacksmithing work, but years back I stumbled across a Whiting Quickwork power hammer buried in the back of my father's shop. I restored it and built a tower for it and have been dreaming of all I can do with it since. I hope to get a wheel built on the back side of the tower soon.

Cheers,

Adair

Welcome Adair,

We have several competent hammer men here. Personally, I've never seen a Quickwork. I understand they have constant speed but variable hit.

Please post some photos of it and your work. We really like photos.

Thank you,

There is a wealth of information here. Hopefully I won't lose shop time trying to keep up with this resource.
