Default Total beginer

Hi everyone,
my name is Phil and i am from Nottinghamshire, UK. i am interested in hot rods and VWs
i am totaly new to metal shaping and i found this site through the H.A.M.B and reading about David Gardiners work on that site.
i have just about finished work on my 32 Ford 5 window coupe (F****G**SS not steel, i am not made of money) and i am now thinking about my next project, a Karmann ghia.
i have had this project on ice for about 10 years while i did the coupe and its time i got stuck in to it.
It needs loads of work and i intend to do as much of it as i can myself, as i said, i have no real experience of metal bashing so i am looking to learn as much as i can before starting the Ghia, first thing is maybe buying Davids DVD and then making a big pile of scrap.
I supose i will mainly be lurking in the background on here asking dumbass question till i get into it and then posting some pics and then asking more dumb questions,
thanks for listening.
Phil
