Default Hello all.

My name is Jon, and I live in Southern California. I have worked in engine machine shops in the past, both as a machinist and as an engine builder. These days I work in the security industry, managing the design, installation and implementation of various systems used to control personnel in critical areas.
I have some welding and fabrication skills, but no real experience with sheet metal. I have recently acquired a 49 Chevy Fleetline that will need more than a fair share of panels repaired/replaced. It seems like a pretty good time to start trying to learn some of the skills that will require. So here I go..........
