I am restoring antiques airplanes and want to improve my metalworking skills and especially metal shaping.

I live in the Minneapolis / St Paul metro area and would like to get in touch with kindred folks in this geographic region in addition to getting in touch with anyone with similar interests Hans

Hello Derek and thanks for your response,

I'll try to gather up a list of contacts within driving distance of Minneapolis so I can visit as my travels take me arpound the Tri-state region. Currently I need to replicate some smaller aluminum fairings for a HOWARD DGA-15P landing gear - actually several sets because friends also have identical projects. I don't necessarily expect to be able to do it all by myself (lack of sufficient skills) but would sure like to learn more along the way. I'll look for further posts I can follow up on. regards Hans

			Hello Joe

and thanks for the time you took to get me oriented in the community along with pointers to useful contacts and events. I will see if I can re-arrange my schedule to make it to Dan Pate's event. The approach you fellows have taken with this community - keeping it on focus - is great and appreciated! regards, Hans F.
