Hi everyone

I'm quite new to forming sheet metal in a compound-curvaceous way, and although I pretty much think I know all the theory from extensive reading and You-tube demos etc., I've never made anything substantial (BIG learning curve ahead, captain!).

My main line of interest with sheet metal forming is in building aluminium car bodies. I have ordered upper and lower anvils from Joe at Hoosier Profiles to construct an English wheel and will build a Pullmax-type reciprocating hammer thereafter.

I work in my own business as a film effects technician, and get asked to make some really crazy and (sometimes) quite cool stuff.

I look forward to meeting and learning from you fellow metal shapers, and in return, hope I can pass on knowledge I've gained from making things over many years in my profession.

Regards, Manny
