Default Another new member from Australia

I first used a wheeling machine in 1967.It's still in the family. It was built by a relative in the 1930s.I've been making panels for a long time. Before retiring I made sheetmetal panels (steel & aluminium) for big Healeys.Over 100 different ones.I have maintained my enthusiasm for the craft by doing other things besides working on cars.I still have all my equipment and intend to finnish my own projects now.
My wife is from Michigan. My first visit was in '76.I have been there many times over the years to visit..attend car events..sell parts...and work on cars.
I always really enjoy my visits to the US.I should be back there in about 6 weeks.
I only recently discovered this site. Its a great use of new technology to maintain skills and knowledge that is in danger of dying out....I only wish I could type with more than 2 fingers.

Welcome to Allmetalshaping John!
I use to be a "search and peck" but after all my posts on the forums I could type with my eyes closed

Welcome to the site John, sounds like you got a head start on a lot of us and Ricks got a head start on me, if I type with me eyes shut I fall asleep.

Enjoy your time.
