Default Hello from Houston

Hello everyone. Brian here in Houston. Hoping to learn about metal shaping and maybe even how to fix a dent. I played around with this a little in the late 60's but the results were horrible. Now I've got a little more patience and want to try it again. Main obstacle seems to be the cost of the tools....english wheels, planishing hammers, power hammers, shrinker/stretcher, dolly's, hammers, picks, aaaaaah. Looks like it's just south of 10 grand to get into the game. I'm hoping you'll show me that's not the case.

Welcome to the site Brian. You don't need fancy equipment to get started. I am down in Clear Lake so can't be more than an hour from you.
