Yeh, another one ,
My name is Mike and i am a "lurker"
I've never posted before mainly because i never felt i can contribute meaningfully.
My history, time served panelbeater, moved into the motorsport arena and then into general fabrication. I still do lots of racecar parts and LOTS of alloy and magnesium welding including castings. I've recently started assembling my own project a MG midget with a Honda VTEC engine, BMW g/box, MX5 rear end clothed in a frogeye sprite body done in aluminium with a lot of help from my lifelong friend who runs his own restoration business. The project has taken a slight hit recently with my daughter announcing her marriage so saving the pennys.
I should of said that i live near Edinburgh Scotland.
