Default Intro-W.Pa

I just joined and am located in W.Pa, USA. Hobbyist and dilettante would be probably apt.

One thing I'm trying to do is identify some gas oxy-fuel torch bodies I'd found in a surplus store. From another forum and with the help of some folks at Harris, they may be old Harris 8940 torches. The tip tube and tips are still available new, and online descriptions are consistent with what I have.

These torches resemble most closely the Victor J-40 in size rough shape. However the tips and tip tube differ from those used with the Victor.
