Default Hello

Hi, Im Aaron from the UK.
Im new to metal shaping, I can MIG and TIG weld.

I think i now have the bug and want to start gaining the necessary skills. A friend has lent me DVD's - Peach and Tommasini, and Covell. Im working my way through them and they appear to be very good and clear.

Hopefully with your help as well i will get to where i want.

I want to build an E wheel, the old quality machines are few and far between and very expensive.
Cheers.

Hi Aaron welcome to the forum, great site with some very helpful people, there may be a member close to you that might let you try a wheel before you decide to make one. Read through a few threads to get the feel of things.

I'm in Devon

Thanks for the welcome, Im in East Sussex, trying a wheel would be a real treat.
As always the more info you read the more confusing it all gets. Spent a couple of hours looking a E wheel builds on here, my idea was to buy the anvils from J.L.B but he doesnt seem to be that highly recommended on here, so not quite sure where to go from here....i guess the cheaper anvils on ebay are possibly even worse?
