Hello everyone, my name is Pat and I currently live in Seattle, Wa. I spent the last 7 years of my life working as an aircraft mechanic for a local airline and the Air Force. I'm currently a engineering student at the University of Washington. My project for the next two years is finishing my 68 Mustang. I plan on media blasting the body and frame this summer, then I'll get busy on the sheet metal. I plan on widening the car 4" in total, 2" on each side. It will consist of cutting the rear quarters, doors and front fenders. Then I'll put in about a 2" section and weld it in. Obviously I'm leaving out a lot of details, but I plan on starting a build thread to go over the details. I'll need a lot of help with this, as it's my first build and 2nd metal working project. The first was a body dolly I made last year (pics to come once I'm accepted to the forum). Look forward to hearing from you.
