I was recommended to this forum, by the guy I bought a rolling shell for a Sunbeam Alpine from. I intend to do a full nut and bolt rebuild, starting out from a sound shell. Although the shell is reasonably good for its age, it will require lots of metal fabrication and welding in of repair pieces, which is why I am joining this site.
I was told it was THE place to come for knowledge of metal fabrication. My name is Eddie Zetlein, and I am Spares Officer of the Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club.

Hello Eddie, welcome to the forum. I have restored the bodies of a couple of sunbeam alpines. No small undertaking. None of the panels that could be bought at the time fitted at all, we ended up making everything.
