My name is Larry and I live in Lasalle, Ontario, Canada. which is just outside of Windsor. My User name stands for Essex Engine Plant where i worked for about 10 years for Ford. It is currently the facility where they manufacture the 5.0L Coyote engine for the Mustang, F150.

I am building a Factory Five Racing 65 Daytona Coupe. I am integrating a SuperCharged version of the Coyote. While the body is fibreglass, I am making many modifications to the "Kit" requiring fabrication of custom aluminum interior panels for the project

I suffered a stroke 5 years ago which was mostly cognitive, cutting my professional career short with early retirement. With encouragement from my medical team I have decided to tackle this project.

With it there are many skills I need to tackle with Metal Shaping being one. I am hoping that this Forum can expedite my learning curve and guide me through my decision making processes and options.

Hi Larry and welcome.

I worked on the original Daytona Coupe with Peter Brock when I worked at Shelbys.
