Sorry Steve when you work on something for so long you start to think every one else know what is going on with the project

I put the bend in the cross tube with the intention of routing the exhaust under the sump to the passengers side of the car (right hand drive) and down through the chassis K members. I was going to do this because a lack of room on the drivers side due to steering shafts, starter motor, brake booster etc.
Now I have the cab on the chassis I have worked out there is a lot of room between the outside face of the chassis rail and the inside edge of the cab so I will probably run the exhaust through there.
My plan is to have nothing hanging lower than the chassis rails.
I hope that makes thing a bit clearer.
