bead fix
I made the L/H and R/H side bead corners many years ago, unfortunately they were a bit short and I had to extend them a small amount.
This is how I went about it.
Sanding back of weld off so the dolly has a flat surface
to sit on.
Sand the top of the welds off on the front face.
Planish weld
File weld down.
After 1st file finding high spots
More planishing
On to sanding when happy with planishing ans filing.
After sanding.
After fine sand paper.
How back of weld looks after planishing.
Ready to go into the cab corner.
Here is a link to how I made the beads/swage for the cab corners,
bloody hell it was 10 years ago :-(
