Brent, good eye. I believe you are talking about the transition area (from the rear, round panel to the more square side panel "V" ). During fitting on the drivers side, by mistake, I stretched(hammer and wheel) the lower part. You may be able to see the shrinker/stretch marks in red circle. On the passenger side used the only the wheel as a fulcrum to bend the metal.

I am thinking a urethane upper wheel would have saved me a lot of work.

I was going to finish the weld with the wire feed, but now may use OX in an attempt to pull some of the crown out.
