Hi everyone, and thanks for the opportunity to join such a large resource.

I live on a sub tropical island in Queensland, Australia.

I'm retired and widowed, had a bad health scare in late 2009 when I was diagnosed with leukemia and lost three years of my life to getting a cure - I hope. Still recovering and getting my health back.

I have a lathe mill combo machine, various metal shaping tools, welders, hobby mechanic since I was a kid with a lifetime collection of hand tools.

I tutor/mentor refugee families who have arrived in Australia and hope to complete a "teach English as a second language" course in the coming year, plus refreshing my (lack of) skills in body repair work on a Mercedes Benz that I own.

I hope that once in a while I might be able to contribute something as well.
