Hi Guys,

I came accross this site while looking for a metal shapping course in the UK. I restore old Volvos as a hobby, Amazon and a P1800. I have a small workshop in Aberdeen, Scotland where I have both my cars, couple of welders, lathe, stretcher/shrinker etc.

I did an apprenticeship in fitting/machining/welding at a bauxite mine at Weipa in Australia, then mech eng at Central Qld Uni. Have always had an interest in making and fixing stuff, especially in metal. I now want to make more complicated panels so want to do a metal shaping course and learn the basics of using an English wheel, swagger etc.

Anyway that's pretty much me so I look forward to reading the excellent posts here on the forum...
