Hi all, my name is Warren, and I'm what you might generously call 'an enthusiastic amateur' when it comes to metal work. I am currently restoring a 1972 Valiant Charger - thats the Australian version not the US Dodge model. I am learning as I go, the welding is getting better as I go. But as I'm a notorious cheap skate I've been manufacturing my own rust repair patches and saving my $$ for the outer replacement panels. I discovered this site by accident and I'm hoping I can learn a few things about metal work that will give me a better finish.
