Default Intro

Hey guys, I've been on the HAMB for years and I have seen reference to this site many times so I thought I would see what's going on over

I have a Model A that has the usual rust in the quarters and wheel wells but the rest is in surprisingly good shape. I've already chopped the top four inches and am about to move onto the rust repair.

I'm fortunate to work on the side at a shop that does repairs and customizing of all sorts of cars. We have everything from a 33 Chevy sedan to a 56 GMC pick up to a 68 GTO. We repair all sorts of rust issues and have the ability to fabricate our own frames or modify what is existing. We do suspension and brake upgrades, we can do anything when it comes to these cars but the interior.

I'm pretty fluent with a hammer and dolly, a shrinking disk and a mig welder but I want to learn more about creating patch panels from scratch instead of buying some of the more simple ones. I plan on building an English wheel and a planishing hammer, maybe even a louver press.

I'm looking forward to scouring this site to learn all I can and contributing whenever possible.

Thanks for the time and remember it's only metal.
