Just a quick hello, and introduction.

I've been in the restoration game for a while now, and I'm based in deepest East Sussex in the U.K.

I was pleased to see David Gardiner is on here, having recently enjoyed his excellent DVD (great value).

The reason for signing up tonight is that I've been asked to panel up a special which was started in 1959, and last worked on in '62. Nearly fifty years later, my customer is picking up from where the last owner left off. I've been working on it for a couple of months-worth of weekends now, arriving at the shape we're probably run with.

It should be a good 'fun' project, and will allow me to get a bit creative with some sheet metal, and a nice change from my day-to-day, which is the restoration of early Porsche 911 bodyshells.

I've got some sheet metal gear including one home fabricated wheel and one small Keetona cast wheel (bought today in fact).

Anyway, enough from me, I'm off to have a look around .

Barry

Perhaps tomorrow (when I'm awake!) I'll post some pics of the day job, plus the Special .....
