Default Confusion about using the site?

Hello and Welcome.

Now that you can log in, you will see topics and pictures you could not see before. Here's a small how to so you can find lots of fun stuff and answers to questions.

When you are new to this software and site

start by:
1. clicking "Today's Posts" near the top row.
2. Pick a topic to read and click the link.
3. Read it.
4. If you get to the bottom and there is more to read, there is a > icon to go to the next page. Click it to go to the next page.
5. When you are done reading, go to step 1 above.

This will get you started with what the group is talking about.

If what you are seeing has page numbers next to the > icon you can skip ahead or go back by clicking on a number.

You want to learn about metalshaping?

Learn the Search Function

Click Search in the Upper right side
After entering the words you want, click the Ok button

Here are some terms. May not be your favorites but it's a start:

1. Lots of general information: Tricks you thought everyone knew
2. What you need to get started in metal shaping
3. Enter a term such as, TIG, MIG, Aluminum, Steel, or your favorite hotrod name.

Next, Click on All Albums in the upper right.

Scroll through these to see the variety of projects people have posted pictures of or questions about.

That'll get you reading.

After reading a while, you'll want to do other things.

Click the All metalshaping icon in the upper right and read through there. Lot's of good content and how to use the board effectively. Here's where you'll see the 'where to put things you post' and 'where the Search function goes to look'.

Lastly, ask questions; but be aware that posts that may have caught your eye could be many years old and original poster may not be available to reply... But somebody else may reply and answer your question.

I'm just a user who has read a lot on this site.
