Default New Member From Nova Scotia

HI Everyone

Just a note to say that I am new member from Nova Scotia Canada.

A Bit about himself, I have had a 1970 Chevelle, stored for the last many years as i took some time from cars to change occupations, get married and start a family. As my daughter is now 14 and starting to want my to spend time with her own friends, i have decided to dig the Chevelle out of storage and restore it.

I would like to do a complete frame off restoration with using replacement panels where possible, but i am sure that many of the replacement are going to require work to make them fit and most likely they will be areas where it may be more economical to fabricate a patch by hand.

What i would like to get out of this forum are some ideas of how to start making simple patches, tools required and tips on welding the patches / panels in.

If there are any members presently in eastern Canada please let me know as i would like to meet anyone that has the same interests in older cars.

Thanks
Robert
