hello metalshapers -
my name is mads, living in hamburg.
i have been working for artists , doing 3d work, digital sculpting and helping them with composite solutions , model making and as tech supporter.

now on my own, slowly mowing into "art decorative" and with very serious interest in metal shaping. i am not into car restoration or coachbuilding. i do have a flavour for cars, motor oil and possibilities for real custom work is not on the on the next months planing list.

next month will be alu gas welding training, some custom machine building and first steps into alu sheet free forming.

came across this forum in my search for some diy plans for a good stretcher/shrinker construction ideas and to find the best stretcher/shrinker jaws as i suddenly read about differences and some pretty good ones from GitZit - well seems that there is a lot to learn - and looking forward to add what i know if it is of any use here at allmetalshaping.

Gitzit is a very nice machine. I own one and like it a lot.

Please share what you learn or teach regarding gas welding of aluminum.
