Greetings from sunny California

Hey gang,

I've been pilfering information off of this site for a while dreading the thought of registering on yet another forum. However, a recent addition to my shop is going to demand a bit more knowledge then I currently have. That addition is a Pullmax P9 with no tooling. I'd like to learn as much about these versatile machines as I can and maybe share what I learned along the way for those who are going through the same thing. The plan right now is to use it mostly for custom car stuff in addition to the standard metal forming tools I already have. You can check out the shop and the car build I am currently doing by using the links in my signature.

Thanks in advance!
Matt

Hi Matt and welcome!
I have a P-9 and love it:D
My came with the straight and offset tool holders but no tooling, or back gage.

So did you make or buy your tooling? I have a CNC Plasma so I might be able to rough cut some forms of tooling and then hand finish.

I make just about all my own tooling.
I have several beading dies, doming dies and made a Ron Naida tool holder.
I can also install a stretcher/shrinker this has to be used with a VFD to slow the machine down to give the dies time to react.

Any chance that you'd be interested in making some more? That would save me a lot of time instead of shopping around!
