Hi my name is Tony, I'm from Newport in Wales in the UK and I'm interested in fabricating and repairing panels for my lambretta's. Im currently customising a series 1, !959 Li 150 lambretta. I have a small selection of hand tools and really want to learn how to utilise what I have.

Hello Tony, I owned a 1959 series one Lambretta when I was a college two quid a week in petrol got me to college every day and to my workshop at night. (It was a long time ago but still cheap then) It was always baking down but I could carry all the tools I needed isn a small bag.

Thanks for the welcome, Im keen to learn to use the tools that I own properly. Ive got a basic selection of cheap hammers and one sykes pickavant hammer with a selection of dollies with some tools I've improvised and made myself. I also own a small mig set. I've had some success with the panels I've worked on but mostly its all been self taught.
Hi David, it was from one of your vids on youtube that I found the site. I currently own two 1959 li series 1's a 1960 tv 175 and a 1968 sx150. The one Li is complete but the other was a complete mess that I picked up off a lad that had been stripped and stored in a pig shed. Needless to say it was quite rotten. This is the one that I am customising. I have modified the sidepanels with air scoops either side but I am currently trying to repair the original legshields.

Tony I have to confess that minw was turned into a skelly, It was a lot of fun, I went everywhere on it for about two years.
It was all I could afford to run.
