Hi everyone,

My name is Mark, I am from Sydney Australia, I have joined this forum hoping to learn some skills and maybe share some.
I have joined because my hobby is restoring cars and I am about to embark on the restoration of a Zagato bodied car so I am keen to learn more about working with Aluminium and forming panels.

Hello Mark, welcome to the forum, I also work on aluminium bodied cars, the best piece of advice I can give you is to do all your aluminium welding with gas. It takes a while to learn and it is important to have good welds so you don't get flux inclusion but tig weld tend to crack and can cause lots of problems down the line. I show a little ally welding and panel forming on my youtube footage.
