Introduction from a frustrated handyman

Good morning all!

My name is Rob, and I live in Illinois.
I'm a handyman by trade (if that is a real trade...) I've been fixing and building things for the past 33 years, though metal shaping has not been one of them.

I enjoy history, especially old cars, and vintage trailers (the kind you camp in).
Though admiring static displays of either is a pleasant experience, getting in an old car and driving it down the road is a lot more fun!

Restoring vintage trailers from the 40's has been my latest hobby, unless you count building them from scratch, which I also enjoy.

I've come across an Art Deco style trailer from 1937 that used steel framing, and steel skin, much the same as automobile construction of the day.
The trailer though, after spending so many years outside, is rusted beyond repair.
I have saved enough for basic patterns, but am seeking help and advise on how to recreate the compound curves used on the original skin.
The members of this board seems to have the skill and experience to at least help me decide if my project is feasible...if you would be willing to help guide me, your efforts would be sincerely appreciated!
