Hello from Connectict
I recently joined this site after finding out about Kerry's art deco roadster and purchasing David Gardiner's DVD.
I am starting a build of a replica brass era car and hope to be able to learn enough metal spinning and shaping to make some of the parts (headlamps, fenders). I know it sounds very ambitious, but I think I have a clear vision of what the finished products should look like, and am smart enough to know when to get someone else to do what I can't :-) I work at an aircraft company, where they do alot of riveting, so I'm confident in that department. And I'm sure there are many talented people who may be willing to give some good advice. I only hope that maybe I can eventually return the favor! |
Welcome Dave. Looking forward to hearing more about your car.
We frequently have questions about riveting so it's good we have a pro in our group now. I don't know if you've noticed but the vase in the shape of the month on the top left of the screen is rivited. |
Welcome to the site Dave. I am sure you will fit right in. People will be interested in learning about riveting.

Dave, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Hope you post a lot of pictures when you start building the car. Thanks for joining us.

Welcome to the site Dave. I also work for an aircraft company based out of CT. The company I work for happens to be a sister company to the one you work for.
