Another old guy

Good morning to everyone. I'm Mike and live just outside of the Metro Denver area and it is finally above 0 degrees. I have the desire to learn more about metal shaping partly for my own wants and needs and just maybe to earn some extra income to spend on my hobbies. I really enjoy watching vintage auto racing and i am converting a 1955 GM scenicrusier bus to a custom motorhome to go Bonneville some day. I enjoy welding and working with my Bridgeport in my garage to make or rebuild old tools and parts for my Scenicrusier. Thanks and hope to be talking to you folks in some of the various threads on here.

Mike

Mike

How about some pictures of the bus project and what your conversion plans are. I always like the style of the scenicruisers.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hope it comes thru, here is a pic of my Scenicrusier. A bunch of mechanical work has already been done. Here i have the bus blocked up level so i could do some floor/bulkhead work on the inside. I might try for a build thread on this later on. Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike, welcome. I'm just north of you in Fort Collins. I'm also a bus nut working on a '48 Flxible Clipper.
