New from Georgia!

Hi everyone! Im Ryne, 24 from the wonderful state of Georgia! I went to Wyotech after high school and worked in a hot rod shop for about 4 1/2 years before having to move on due to economic reasons. Anyway, ive joined becuase im allways wanting to learn more and more bout metal work, and the CORRECT way to do it. a buddy of mine recommended me to join this site, and said everyone here is awesome and very helpful. ive done a litte bit of metal work but sometimes i think i just lucky that the piece i was making turned out right. anyway, here is some of my things ive made and im happy to be here!

a quarter panel i had made for a 40, i shrunk the edges where the fender is with a tucking tool and then rolled the rest of it in the wheel. It worked but i dont think it was 100% correct.

Ryan, welcome, thanks for joining us. You seem to have a good background to learn metal shaping. Thanks for posting the pictures of the projects you have been working one. Nice job on them.

Hey Ryne, welcome and thanks for joining. I'm just down the road in Dallas, Ga This is a great site, with tons of information and a great bunch of people. My hope is that I get to meet some of these people at one of the events in the near future. Charlie.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Im going to hang around a while and learn the forums before i start posting new threads! ive been on a few other car forums and people seem to get mad when you ask something thats been covered a thousand times. Ive been looking into building a E-wheel and a plannishing hammer, or maybe even one of the mini pullmax looking machines ive seen on here. Ill try and do my best to read and learn before asking questions thats have already been covered. As of now im just trying to get some metal shaping tools at home that i can work with instead of allways using the shop tools.
