Hello From North Alabama
Hi to all on All Metal Shaping. I'm a general metal banger, I'm a young guy that jumped in head first 10 yrs ago and really took to working with metal. I've been building outlaw drag cars on and off through the years and have really taken to restoring sheet metal as well.
I would say that I split time between fabrication and sheetmetal work 50/50. it just depends whats paying the bills when the tig is running. I have a decent (you know there is always something else I NEED.) shop located in Decatur, AL. Specializing in the stuff nobody else wants to mess with, tig welding, moderate metal shaping, panel replacement, light machining, fabrication. I have meet a few people in the community over the last few years mostly through Kerry and his overly generous meets he puts on. you won't find a better group anywhere. I've quite a few projects documented and hopefully I can find some time to share some along the way. Currently working on a 1940 ford pickup, total rust replacement. And have a personal project 1953 buick special, that currently sits awaiting any spare time............hahahah |
Welcome Matt, Good to hear from you again, stop by for a visit when you are over my way, Merry Christmas, Dan

Welcome Matt! Matt is the guy who helped me (actually did most the work) build the gas tanks for the roadster.

Dan good to hear from you too. I need to get out more, I'm back in the process of figuring it all out again
Kerry what can I say its all I could do for everything you've helped me with. there would be a little car without doors if it weren't for your help. Anytime you need something feel free to ask. I'm always willing to return a favor. Joe, thanks for the welcome. What we have above are three outstanding individuals who are always willing to help a fellow out, and thats what it is all about. |
Welcome Matt.
