I'm Jacques Maurel from France, I'm interested in machining and owning a shaper of "Hermes" brand (French made from the sixtees).
I want to share information about shaping techniques.
Perhaps you know me if you are a reader of "Model engineer" or "Model engineer workshop" magazines, as I've been a contributor to these magazine for 23 years.

Hi Jacques, welcome to the forum. In the UK a shaper is machinery that shaves metal as it moves back and forward over it. Hope that isn't what you expect to see on here?
