trying to gain experience in metal shaping

Hello all from (rainy) Scotland.

Been tinkering on old cars for years now, and am finally getting round to starting a blasting business (for rust and paint removal, not the explosive kind). Also exploring the finer side of metalworking - just lamping it with a big hammer does not work !!
Last couple of years built up my tools including english wheel, bead roller, mig and tig etc and now trying to gain more subtle experience on metalworking. Hopefully my business and hobby can blend into one later.

I love old cars. Have a '71 bay vw bus, '67 isuzu bellet, renault 4, and mazda miata in various states of not running.
The site look great, looking forward to get stuck in !!

But seriously this forum is great for learning the finer details, and all the basics can be gained from YouTube and books.

Also learning the hard way in your garden shed..... It’s amazing what you can do with a hammer and a good Vise.
