what is traps?
Aussie slang
around the traps means around the haunts, or around the place, or out and about. Sorry, but those of you across the big pond may never understand us Aussies, but then we may not want you to. As per; I was lazin around at beer o'clock Saty arvo havin a durry and listnen to Barnesy waitin for the thugby game gainst the All Blacks, just feelin a bit average, when me old cobber Bluey comes up the drive with his Esky and his sheila and their tin lids. Ridgey didge friggin ferals, this mob are rough as guts shockers, what a pisser of a day this might have just turned out to be. Anyway the missus is up the frog and toad at an arvo hen's night, and me mate is full on givin the piss a go. Well after a cuppla hours, Bluey has lost the plot and is is going on like a pork chop and pulls down his missus' trackies and lo and behold, she has on the worst pair of knackered knickers i've ever laid me mince pies on. Well she king hits him and starts crackin on to me and i thought hell i'm in like Flynn here. Just then the trouble and strife returns to save me from myself and pisses Blue and his moll and sprogs off. Saved by the bell! |
