John from Down Under
I have been playing with metal for many years. In the 70's I built a clubman car from and Austin A40, built and aluminium fairing for a road racing sidecar which was very light compared with the fibreglass we used normally at the time.
Since then continued to cut fingers, burn hands and chest with all sorts of welding gear. Now I am attemping a boat tailed car body and cooling ducts on my current racing sidecar. Next project is something I call and auto liner. Its an aluminium bodied car resembling the areoplanes of the 30's on a 2.5L Riley. It will have 3 doors, plane style windscreen and be as luxuious as I can make it in side. |

Welcome to the site. I would love to see the side car, the way those racers climb all over them in a race is awsome.
